Kate Powlison, Age 27 - Boulder, Colorado

As the Research Analyst and Communications Co-ordinator for Bikes Belong, Kate will tell you she’s found her dream job and her enthusiasm bubbles over when she begins to talk about the foundation’s mission and the potential to make bicycles an agent of change in America.

Kate recently planned and completed the 500-mile Tim Johnson Ride on Washington as a warm up for the 2,100 miles of the Tour de France in July.

Based on our two team camps we’re expecting Kate to spend a good deal of time on the front putting that big engine to work for the group... and when the road tips down look for her to bomb the descents.
